Yet, Bin Laden’s father was rich, but, his childhood as not as simple as like other rich children. Osama Bin Laden was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 10th March, 1957. He is the 17th son of his father’s out of 55th son. His father, late Muhmmed Awad Bin Laden (married 22nd times), was a wealthy business man of Saudi Arabia and he had close ties with Saudi royal family. But, before World War-1, he was poor, uneducated, emigrated from Hadhramaut, south coast of Yemen to the Red Sea, port of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where he started work as porter. After that, in 1930, he was starting his own business and in during 1950’s, Muhammed built his fortune as a building contractor for the Saudi royal family. His mother name was Hamida al-Attas (10th wife of Muhmmed). The couple had separated after Osama’s born as well as after that his mother married another man whose name was Muhammed al-Attas who worked at the Bin Laden’s company. The couple have four children, and Osama lived in the new household with three stepbrothers as well as with one stepsister. It can be a negative point of his childhood and may be a strong point, he turned become a terrorist.

According to FBI, Bin Laden is tall up to 6 feet 6 inch tall, slender and weighing about 165 pounds. His skin colours is olive complexion, he is left handed and walks with the help of a cane. He wears white Kurta-pajama and covers his head with a plain white turban in his and no longer dons the traditional Saudi male headdress, generally white. According to a reporter’s interview, in terms of personality, Bin Laden is soft spoken (but according to Osama’s bodyguard, on those following days, Osama’s vocal cords were inflamed by the Soviet chemical weapon. However, reporters suggested that kidney disease is the main cause.) and a mild manner man. According to Michael Scheuer, Bin Laden can only speak in Arabic (in a 1998 interview, Bin Laden translated English questions into Arabic). But Rhimaulah Yusufzai and Peter Bergen believe he understand English. But, it can’t be abide by, because whenever we see him in front of television, he speaks only in Arabic. Though, as a civil engineer, he has to be known English. The only reason behind his non-speaking, may be – as he hated America and their follower, that’s why he is not speaking English.

About his education, it was heard that he studied in Economics and Business Administration from Management and Economics School of King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. But some sources said that Bin Laden has got a degree either in Civil Engineering in 1979 or, Public Administration in 1981. However, some sources said that he left his study during the third year and never completed his degree. From his childhood, he has strong attraction in Islam. So, when he was studied in Al-Thager Model School, he was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood community and he used to hear its political teaching during after-school Islamic Study groups. In regards to his Islamic learning, Bin Laden also sometimes called “Sheikh”.

At the age of seventeen (in 1974), Bin Laden has married his maternal uncle’s daughter first time. Her name was Najwa. Including with Najwa, Bin Laden has married five several women:-

1. Umm Abdullah or Najwa: She was Osama’s first wife and the mother of his eleven children. She left Bin Laden in 2001. She was Osama’s youngest wife and at least more educated between Osama’s five wives.
2. Umm Hamza: She was a professor of child psychology, but she left her job after getting married to Osama. She is seven year older than Bin Laden and she had only one child, a son, though she is Osama’s favourite wife. She was coming from a wealthy and distinguished family.
3. Umm Khaled: She was a teacher of Arabic grammar and she also left her job after married.
4. Umm Ali: She left Osama like his first wife. She divorced Bin Laden because she didn’t want to continue her life with him by that passion (hard way).
5. Amal al-Sada: She is a Yemeni girl, when Laden married him; she was just 15 year old. To strengthen the relationship between him and an important Yemeni tribe, he married her which he did to boost Al Qaida recruitment in Yemen.

The sources said that Bin Laden does have 12 to 24 children. The some of are Abdallah, Omar, Saad, Muhammed etc. Muhammed bin Laden (born in 1983) married the daughter of the late Al-Qaida military chief Mohammed Atef (aka Abu Haf) in January 2001 at Kandahar in Afghanistan.

There is a lot of controversy about spelling of Osama’s name. Just like CIA and FBI use either Usama bin Laden or, Usama bin Ladin and French language mass media write Ussamah Bin Ladin or Ousaama Ben Laden. But the commonly used spelling is Osama bin Laden which is used by most English language mass media.
Bin Laden also have several aliases and nicknames, those are – The Prince, The Sheikh, Al-Amir, Abu Abdallah, Sheikh Al-Mujahid, The Lion Sheik, The Director, Imam Mehdi & Samaritan.

Some sources suggest that Bin Laden hates music on religious track. It is heard that though, Osama loved horse racing and also ownership of horse racing, he stopped attending races in Sudan for the presence of a band and music at the Khartoum, Sudan race track which annoyed him very much. But, technology attracted Bin Laden; he does have strong interest in earth moving machinery genetic engineering of plants.

After leaving college in 1979, Osama joined with his old teacher Abdullah Azzam to fight against Soviet invasion in Afghanistan (which also known as jihad). The then American Government help Osama and Azzam with money as well as with arms to stop Soviet Russia. That was not all – Osama received security training from CIA. The then Americas Cold War foreign policy today turns against them just as like a Frankenstein. With the help of America, he fought against Russia eight long years and during this period, for his courge and bravery turned him many Arab young guys dream hero.

However, Osama is not against the America from the beginning. There is a short history why he turned against America and also How Al Qaida born? While he was fighting against Soviet invasion in Afghanistan, Osama and Abdullah Azzam made a bureau – Maktab al-khidimat (MAK) in 1984 which works to recruit jihadi from all corners of the world as much as possible. And America helped them with money to do this (as earlier mentioned). Abdullah Azzam made this bureau to extend his view to the Muslim people who lived in Western country. But, Osama had other thought. His thought was that to united Muslim people against the non-Muslim people (who ever it may be – innocent citizen, woman, children or it may be innocent senior citizen) all over the world by hook and crook (it was 1987) and from then personal relationship between Osama and Azzam came under scanner. When the Afghan war was end, Laden realize that there was a lump sum fund is still alive (which was provide by the Sheikh of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates) and money talked again baby. So, Laden demanded it to the Abdullah Azzam for the terrorist activities in Algeria. But, Azzam refused that because; he gathered it for Afghani people and he can’t allow spending it for other reason. That refusal, he had to pay by giving his life. In November 24, 1989, Azzam was killed in a massive car bomb blast (20K.g. TNT, which activated by the remote) with his two sons outside mosque by the Osama with the help of Egyptian terrorist. After finish Azzam, Osama made a new team and named it Al Qaida which earlier name was Islamic Army. After completing his work at Afghanistan, Osama returned his motherland to work his family construction business. But, he was expelled from there for his anti-government activities in 1991. He spent his next five year in Sudan until US government pressured Sudanese government to expel him. Expelling from Sudan, Bin Laden returned in Afghanistan. And then Osama Bin Laden turned against US and their allies to pay back them their own medicine. Since then, Al Qaida has engaged in so many deadlier attacks against US and their allies in USA, Europe as well as in Middle East too. His power is founded on a personal fortune earned by his family’s construction business in Saudi Arabia and he also back by the Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

1993: World Trade Centre Bombing.

1996: Killed 19 US soldier in Saudi Arabia

August, 1998: Bomb blast in American embassy in Kenya’s Nairobi and Tanzania’s Dar es-salem, killed more than two hundred people.

2000: Attack on USS Cole in Yemen.

11th September2001: Hijacked four airbuses and made suicidal attack on World Trade Centre and Pentagon with them, killed more than three thousand people.

October, 2002: Bomb blast at Bali (Indonesia) in a night club and killed more than two hundred people.

May, 2003: Attacked in a housing complex (which was reserved for American military) in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and killed 26 people.

March, 2004: Blast in a train in Madrid (Spain); died 198 and, more than 1,400 peoples were injured.

September, 2004: Al Qaida’s partner Chechen militant attacked in Beslan (Russia) and killed 300 people including with 200 children.

7th July, 2005: Serial bomb blast in London; killed 52 people.

23 July, 2005: Serial car bomb blast in the amusement centre in Egypt; named Sharm Al-Sheikh and killed 90 people.

October, 2005: Again involve in a bomb blast in Bali, killed 26.

9th November, 2005: Serial bomb blast in American owned hotel in Amman (Jordan), died 57.

Most deadly crime he did between those was 9/11 blast. After that attack, America allegedly declares him as a most wanted international terrorist. To take revenge, America tried to finish him in Afghanistan; but didn’t succeed. After the end of war it was heard that he was died in bomb blast in Tora Bora when America attacked in Afghanistan. But, by a video tape, which was telecasted in Al Jazira, he said that he was not finish at all and declared holly war against the America and their allies. Time after time whenever America says he is suffering from kidney disease and he may be died, he comes again before then world with his deadlier view and idea to make his remark by the video tape. Recently, another crime is added in his C.V., it is heard that he has killed former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto.

However, take a brief look before further discussion since Oct, 1999:-

Oct 12th, 1999: Musharraf snatched the power from Sharif when Sharif wanted to kill Musharraf in the plane. Unfortunately, by the help of his follower, he escaped.

Oct 10th, 2000: Sharif was banished from the Pakistan and sent to Saudi Arab for nearly 10 year [according to Sharif, its 5 yr. (in verbal)].

Sept 10th, 2007: Sharif returning from England at 9:15 a.m. and at 1:15 p.m. sent back again from his country to Jeddah. Between this four hour, Sharif was sitting inside the plane nearly for 45 minutes to avoid the arrest and also he refuse to give his passport to the custom. After one and half hour later, he came out from the plane and waited in lounge to see his revenge. But it was not more than a fluke, Musharraf just gave him a two option - either you go back from where you come, or, we would send you to the jail. Sharif took the first choice and said tata, bye-bye to his follower and boarded in the plane to go Saudi Arabia. Before leaving, he stated - My dear follower,I will come back again.

What it may be, but, Sharif got trapped by Musharraf in his own fault. Sharif has done exactly what Musharraf want. Musharraf just want to detach Sharif from the Pakistan and he succeeded to won the election without competition. Sharif can’t do anything from outside the country. If he took the first choice, he might have been done something with the help of his follower and when Supreme Court supports him.

Most of all, in this situation Musharraf can’t lost his post, because, American Government need him. For that, America will try everything to re-elect him. If Musharraf lost his sit this time, nuclear weapon might go in the hand of militant. That will not be good news for America as well as for his attendant and India too. That’s why everybody is trying to keep their mouth shut. However, by that passion, Musharraf sent back this issue in a cold room for at least three year.
