Presidential election is again in the threshold of Pakistan and Pakistan catching the heat with the issue of re-electing of current President General Parvej Musharauff, rather than we can say the ticket issue. Pakistan’s Supreme Court and Election Commission don’t want to give Musharauff any chance re-electing himself for the Presidents post, but it can happen, for that Musharauff have to leave his army rank.
But, it is not more than a joking. That’s why Musharauff is showing his don’t care mentality. But, after he has said that he will leave army rank after winning the Presidential election. It was just an empty statement. Musharauff did it so many times. In his era, thousand of time Musharauff has promised that he would move on very quickly. Fortunately, the time has not come yet.
At present, Pakistan’s political environment is like a circus. Musharauff is the ring master and Supreme Court and Election Commission is the joker. General is sending them to entertain us and they doing. Nothing can happen.
The fortune is election will come again, and Musharauff will re-elect again, he will keep his position and he will again promise us. Who can say Musharauff isn’t playing his game? Who can say Musharauff isn’t trying to pacify his subjects with the use of Supreme Court and Election Commission? Because, it is all legal in love and war. And in political environment anything can goes happen and if it is Pakistan, it can be.
